Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-06-05

These Terms explain in plain language how you may use DuskShell, accounts, and membership services, including server operations, payments, device authorization, AI assistance, and consumer rights.

1. Acceptance

These Terms apply to the DuskShell website, accounts, membership, downloads, device authorization, online support, and related services. By using the services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account, purchase a membership, or use account-based features.

2. The service

DuskShell is an SSH server management tool for developers, small teams, site owners, and light operations users. It may provide SSH workspaces, file management, server status, Docker management, Nginx management, command hints, log explanations, AI-assisted diagnostics, accounts, membership, device authorization, and sync features.

Specific features may change by version, platform, membership plan, backend configuration, and available APIs.

3. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate account information and protect your email, password, devices, and sessions.

If you discover account compromise, abnormal device activity, or unauthorized access, contact us or revoke the relevant device in the account center as soon as possible.

For security, compliance, fraud prevention, or abuse prevention, we may require re-authentication, limit suspicious sessions, revoke devices, or suspend accounts.

4. Server access responsibility

You may connect to and manage only servers, containers, sites, and network resources that you are authorized to access.

You are responsible for confirming the impact of commands, configuration changes, file operations, service restarts, container operations, and Nginx changes.

DuskShell provides tools, interfaces, and hints. It does not replace your professional judgment, authorization process, or change management.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the services to access unauthorized systems, scan or attack third parties, distribute malware, steal credentials, bypass security controls, or violate law.

Do not abuse APIs, bypass device limits, share accounts with unauthorized people, reverse engineer server APIs, disrupt service stability, or evade billing.

Violations may result in feature limits, account suspension, device revocation, service termination, or lawful reporting.

6. Membership, payment, and renewal

Membership plans, prices, billing cycles, discounts, entitlements, device limits, and expiry are shown by the website and backend service.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Their terms may also apply.

Subscription plans may renew automatically unless you cancel before renewal. Refunds, taxes, invoices, and disputes depend on applicable law, payment provider rules, and the specific membership plan.

7. AI assistance and command hints

DuskShell’s AI assistance, command hints, log explanations, and diagnostic suggestions are intended to help you understand issues and reduce command lookup. They are not guaranteed operating instructions or professional operations services.

Before executing commands, changing config, deleting files, restarting services, or changing Docker or Nginx, you should verify the action yourself.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that the services will meet every requirement or prevent every mistake.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, consequential, or exemplary damages.
